EXHIBITION: PAINTING X 2021 - I believe that what makes us humans is a fragmented reality. There is not one truth, but several acceptable truths within different realms. I like to reflect on this idea through my paintings. Working in groups of paintings rather than on one big canvas, gives me this liberty of trying to express how complex and diverse the mind can be. For this particular set, inspired by religious painting, I try to strip the symbols to nothingness, in an attempt to reach the core of the spiritual.
