Muhammadsuriyee Masu was born in 1990 in Narathiwat. Currently living and working at Patani Artspace, Pattani; Deep South of Thailand. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Visual Arts, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. His interests are focused on issues of religion, culture, politics and violence in the Deep South of Thailand where he lived. He therefore uses the experience of encountering unrest throughout his life from childhood to adulthood, conveying it through various artistic media such as painting, sculpture, printmaking and other mixed media to show aspects of truth and feelings; Both in the dimension of Islam that he is, violence, injustice of humans that treat each other, as well as reflecting the way of life and society in the Malay world.
