Bongkojthip ‘Bua’ Bhirombhakdi (b.1990) is a Thai abstract expressionist painter based in Bangkok Thailand, her paintings draw from natural landscapes from her imagination through an abstract lens. Her intuitive works feature layered washes, creating movement and emotion through water-based media in bold pigments. Bua enjoys experimenting and challenging new ways of expression through technique, each piece reflects a specific personal moment in time. Water-based media has always drawn her for its fluidity and unpredictability, helping her relinquish control and enter a meditative state.
